The busy hands in the clock trek and trek
Chiming ‘Tick-Tock’ with out any break
The sun shatters glooms with radiant rays
Again leaving behind shadows after his race
Dawns a New Year with fresh hopes on the faces
To become old and welcome the other in its place
The plant peers high into the blue expanse
For buds that unfold their petals for fragrance
A crawling baby, shaped into a man fast,
Journeys from future to present and then to past
To stop anything on the move none so bold
God’s Laws of Nature mould all in Time’s fold.
