SONNET ON LOVE

Love, natural in bloom like a flower,

Selfless in action, supernal in goal,

Prejudices and pretences never,

Love in zeal merges with the supreme soul,

The mission and the vision as the whole,

Like the sun-lily in love-affluence,

Unlike the pole away from other pole,

Like two rivers join for their confluence,

To merge with the ocean in love-essence,

The lovers in unison, the two in one,

The life of two lives, the path in love-sense,

That is the true success of lovers won,

Love is like the sunrays and the moonbeams,

Shines love in the flows and glows of love-streams.

SONNET ON YOGA

Yoga, a boon to keep man calm and quiet,

It helps man to be free from fears and tears,

It frees the mind from darkness by its light,

As a link between man and God, it clears,

The mind, in full peace by relief-showers,

Increase in powers of concentration,

It makes the mind balanced in cool bowers,

In all works with strong determination;

No scope in mind for hasty decision,

Young and old can do it in the free air,

Thrice a day with prayer, meditation,

It trains the mind to think all dare and fair,

It helps the mind to cultivate beauty,

The body to shine in serenity.

MY FAVOURITE JOURNAL

I was in my wide search; my victory,

As a bird of notes sat on my shoulder,

A search for a journal of poetry,

It sang its melodies to my wonder;

A feast of ears for bliss auditory, 

"Metverse Muse" its name, known for its candor,

Editor Tulsi in metric kingdom,

With the melodic verses in wisdom.
