downright in nature,
to say that spade is a spade
to show that shade is a shade;
the mirror is true in expression
real in exhibition
young as young, old is old
though inanimate it is bold;
no hypocrisy, no pretence
no trials to maintain suspense
with a view to enhance
the object's elegance;
it allows no recommendation
all ugly to be in fascination
the butterfly to be the caterpillar
the robber to be the tiller;
it tells how the viewer,
whether he is really gloomier
or he is actually happier
how honest is the mirror!
it is the teacher-trainer
for one to overcome shyness ever
a shy speaker turns an orator
it shows how to be an actor;
not the camera to capture images
as it is in the album pages
mirror can only show realities
