A few decades fled in time’s race,
Welcoming changes remarkable,
The same measures show the place,
The pace of time is unchangeable.
The album of wedding, once so new
So attractive and so fine to shine
With covers stained and torn in view
Now is outdated in its design.
The twinkles shone in the groom’s face,
Carves with wrinkles in time reign.
A lot altered in style and grace
Muscles, robust youth on the decline.
The bride with all charms in full glow
With her lovely hair long and black
Turns too small to be a mock show
She wants to turn robust by going back.
The smiles on lips to shine in the rose,
Wrought with the scratches of time,
Beauty, glory, and valor in virile pose
Sure to sing in the blurring chime.
All in reflection, the sense of tradition
Turns outdated in the age of modernity
The past in the fullest exhibition
Fails to retain its spirit and attain eternity.
