Good Hearts

Good Hearts
By Dr. Rajamouly Katta

I love to see the people
With good hearts
They wish human welfare,
The progress of human race
They are truth lovers
To say that a spade is a spade,
No hypocrisy, no guise
No appearance, no fancy-dress show
Ony real colours to glow
To be away from deception.

I love those who love nonviolence
That detests fears and tears
That hates bloodshed,
Mass killings, massacres
That bestows on life peace
The principle of humanity
Human distinction
Its love for mankind
That conquers the mission
The real achievement of man.

Real justice is social justice
Built with the bricks
Of liberty, equality and fraternity
Liberty is not to do violence
It is not to hurt others’ feelings
Equality in all walks of life
Not just with the right to vote
Fraternity is love for all
To enrich their happiness
And enjoy their progress.

Sculptures of Musings

Sculptures of Musings
By Dr. Rajamouly Katta

Musings are fantastic
Fanciful as well as artful
Away from outer senses
As a concealed treasure
Musings dawn
At the sight inspiring
And undergo poetic prowess
In the poet’s mind for a poem
With Beauty for readers’ gaiety
Like a sculpture that has form
When chiselled in the skill
In the imaginative process
In the mind of a sculptor
Like the texture of a filigree
With the variety of threads
Interwoven to shine
In the rainbow tinctures
In the mind of a weaver,
Like the earth in creation,
For the mirth of flora and fauna
The creator knows wonders
In the imaginative process
The sculpture of musings,
Risen from the poet’s mind,
In the poem, the word picture
Gushed from the pen.
Musings are shaped into a poem
Like a sculpture from rock
Like an ornament from gold
Like a goblet from clay.

Life, 'A linear-Time Dimension' in Human Time

Life, 'A linear-Time Dimension' in Human Time
by Dr. K. Rajamouly

Synopsis:

According to Larkin, life is a texture in “a linear-time dimension”. It is a hard journey through time in which “happiness is too going” (TLD, 44). It is the illusion of illusions as time rules life to turn it into a supreme illusion.  All time - present, past, and future – serves as a three-fold illusion and becomes a source for disappointments in life. Mortality and futility are the inevitable facts of life. The future, which is unpromising, acts as a harbinger of misfortunes including death, the harshest fact of life. The present is seen with a series of failures and frustrations in life on the collapse of castles built in the air. The past is past to serve as a reminder of what we ought to have been. Life after all is in thrall to time’s constant flux.

Key words:

Time, powers, thrall, illusion, life, birth, growth, childhood, youth, middle age, old age, death, mortality, future, expectations, aims, dreams, present, the past, futility, failures, disappointments, sadness, and miseries.
