No sooner did I lift my hand
Than he did so with a command;
I opened my eyes very, very wide
He also did so well with all pride;
I puzzled much at what he did
He followed me all like a kid;
My eyes found him shrug on and on
In imitation of my action going on;
I sincerely threw my possible smile
That echoed his response for a while;
Then I tried my chance to scorn him
He too did the same to the brim;
My eyes scattered at him a stare
Evinced he, with equivalent care;
In me a stop arose all of a sudden
His tempo, I found, sure to gladden;
His imitation prompted me to try
Always to know all those why;
His words related the tale of a lion
Its roar, the well echoed in the coin.
