The mind is the fountain
Perennial source of wants to spurt
They leap like rising tides
They race like galloping horses,
I fly on the wings of wants
Like butterflies and fireflies
In my sport and game of life.
I do not know where to fulfil
My wants in the realm of facts
Some say wants are sure to rise
But they are shattered in time
That is indeed life chime
Some say that one should have luck
Where is that luck to be found?
Is the luck on earth for man’s mirth?
How does it shine in its reign?
Some say it is in the rainbow colours
For luck I launch a wide search
Luckily, I find the rainbow in the sky
I am not a child to climb it
Nor am a mountaineer to ascend it.
Some say luck paces than the hare
I pace much faster and speedier
It is not found at that speed.
Some say luck moves like tortoise
I move so but I do not find it.
Some say they are fulfilled at will
By sheer means of hard work
I do that in devotion
With all expectation
