Earth is life, the planet is for mirth,
Mother of mother,
To feed every creature
In her cozy shelter of lovely lap.
She solely loves harmony and peace
All are born from her womb.
She has treasures at its heart,
Mines of virtues, jewels of values.
Earth’s surface to reflect her pretty face,
Mounts of height, oceans of depth
Plains for life fields, grown in river wealth,
Green in sheen for life delightful
As treasures, most beautiful and wonderful
Of the dear earth of pleasures,
Without earth, there is no breath for creatures
I love my dear green earth
For green is life, life is mirth
By living in peace and keeping heads high
At the heights of humanity,
Enjoying life in unity and amity,
It is peace, her sole dream,
Its fulfilment, everyone is to celebrate
But man created clashes and conflicts,
Discriminations and disparities,
Barriers and boundaries,
Keeping humanity at bay,
Man-to-man relation at stake,
With hues of high and low, black and white,
Contributing violence and unrest
Tears and fears against her cherished dream.
Now time has come for all to arise
The dream our mother is to realize.
