ROBUST YOUTH

Youth is so robust

That it glows in glamour

That it thrives in vigor

Like Spring in lust;

Its wants, so speedy

Like the horse in gallops

Like the birds on hilltops

Like acts, ever ready;

It is a driving force

With the limbs vivacious

With the mind stupendous

In the living course;

It is surely evident

In the rays of the hot sun

To have everything won

In youth to present;

It is a mount river

To fall from the blue sky

It is a tide to rise far high

In the ocean treasure;

It is a sweet dream

That glitters in transience;

Time shatters its eminence

In its endless stream;

No sooner did I lift my hand
Than he did so with a command;
I opened my eyes very, very wide
He also did so well with all pride;
I puzzled much at what he did
He followed me all like a kid;
My eyes found him shrug on and on
In imitation of my action going on;
I sincerely threw my possible smile
That echoed his response for a while;
Then I tried my chance to scorn him
He too did the same to the brim;
My eyes scattered at him a stare
Evinced he, with equivalent care;
In me a stop arose all of a sudden
His tempo, I found, sure to gladden;
His imitation prompted me to try
Always to know all those why;
His words related the tale of a lion
Its roar, the well echoed in the coin.

THE IRONY OF LIFE

 Infinite are the clashes between the two,

All what we want and what takes place;

Life is the best teacher to teach all true.

A child wishes to wear the youthful face,

Fanciful mind to reflect flowery charms,

Mock at their diminishing in time's pace.

Life is a texture thin-spun in time's arms,

A slave with the shackles but it all feigns

To be free like a free bird to live on farms;

The bud craves for its blooms for shines,

Perfumes, honey abundant for bliss-offer

But hates to fade and fall in time's reigns;

Life loves twinkles for glittering stature

Time carves wrinkles in its cold capture.
