She smiled her amorous rays by chance
I gazed at all her charms at glance,
But she disappeared leaving me alone at once
Like the lightning of unrivalled brilliance.
She captured all my rapt attention
To her arresting attraction
I couldn’t but adore her
To welcome her as my life partner.
Forthwith I had a wish than never
That I should search for her
Or we both, for each other
To unite at our wedding-chamber.
I went ahead trying every chance
To invite her to my doorstep
Searching for her at every step
Once again, I could glimpse her at once.
Her lively walking and lovely dancing
Played rhythms with her songs enchanting:
“Angels are only to tread in heaven
But not on earth and it is proven.”
