TO EVERY NATION

A true nation at heart, love for mankind,
As a human family in kinship-bind,
All like drops of river for fertile land,
To keep the head high and go hand in hand,
To all great ideals they never be blind.
Peace, their chief goal in the system streamlined,
No fears of the race, no tears of womankind,
That’s what a nation needs for joys of dreamland.
That’s a true nation!
The welfare of the race, their frame of mind,
And they have their character all refined,
Arms in wars to kill friend and foe are banned,
All flags are unfurled on joyous command,
True nation is peace-goaled, aimed in its kind.
That’s a true nation!
