Time knows no U-turn in ceaseless sojourn,
The one and only motion, its concern
It doesn’t lie in couch, relaxing awhile,
So, it works sans rest always with a smile,
Like an avid student, ready to learn.
When delayed, birds love birdies and adjourn,
Their flight and lovers thank time in their turn,
Sunrise is late for a change in lifestyle,
Time knows no U-turn!
Time’s traverse is not a still on an urn,
On its mission, rest it does never yearn,
The flower that shines on the stem is fragile,
Wrinkles form in place of twinkles agile,
Time races in its pace with actions stern.
Time knows no U-turn!
